Streamdeck for Resolve

Streamdeck for resolve is a FREE tool that I’ve developed as an accessible alternative to prohibitively expensive colour grading control surfaces. It provides fingertip control for 778 different functions on the DaVinci Resolve Colour Page for which Blackmagic do not allow shortcuts; enabling anyone with a laptop and a smartphone to streamline their colour grading workflows.
What is Streamdeck for Resolve?
This tool uses The Elgato Streamdeck software to mimic the mouse movements of each different function, using a plugin for the Elgato Streamdeck software called Supermacro to send the mouse to correct coordinates for each function. Unfortunately this plugin only works for Windows. I do not use a Mac for grading so have not been able to develop this tool for Mac. Maybe in the future though, as I’m sure it wouldn’t be too complicated. The Elgato Streamdeck itself is a control surface with highly customisable buttons each equipped with a small LED screen. However it is not necessary to own one for this tool to work as Elgato provide an app for both android and iOS to use your phone or tablet as a stream deck.
How does it work?
Streamdeck for Resolve will give you 778 buttons on 28 different profiles corresponding to each of these following panels on the Resolve Colour Page:
What features does it have?
Were I to charge for this I would feel inclined to provide support & updates which is something I don’t really have the time or inclination to do. I would rather give this out to the community and provide all the files on which it is based so that anyone can make their edits and improvements. I am not a coder, I am not a developer. This has just been a side project I’ve enjoyed creating on-and-off over the last year and am happy for it to remain so. I’m intrigued to see what life this gets once I release it and would be happy to assist anyone who may want to contribute improvements (such as Mac support), just drop me a line. I also really enjoy how increasingly accessible art-making tools are becoming and very much like the idea of making my own small contribution to this.
Why is it free?
